The Scott Contessa Active 30 women’s mountain bike is designed for active girls who prefer walking in the fresh air to watching TV series. The bike has an aluminum frame, 29″ wheels, 18-speed transmission, disc hydraulic brake system.
The frame is made of aluminum alloy 6061. In the production process, batting and hydroforming technologies were used, thanks to which the weight of the structure is reduced and torsional rigidity is increased. The internal wiring of the transmission cables extends their service life, therefore protects them from water and dirt. Reduced geometry will make it easier to get on the bike.
The Suntour XCR32-LO-R spring-oil fork will provide comfort even on broken roads thanks to 100 mm of travel. The oil lockout, located in the right leg, blocks the operation of the spring, which on a flat road does not so much work out vibration, as it consumes the cyclist’s strength for its compression.
In addition to high speed, 29 “wheels also have excellent cross-country ability. Two-layer aluminum rims are shod with Kenda Booster tires.
The 18-speed transmission is made of two-speed Shimano FC-MT210-2 cranks and a 9-star Shimano CS-HG200-9 cassette. A timely gear change will help the front Shimano FD-M3120 and rear Shimano Alivio RD-3100 derailleurs work.
Shimano BR disc hydraulic brake system will provide high braking force and good modulation.
